At 14 years old, I moved away from home to attend a hockey boarding school. It was a big step — living on my own, balancing school, training, and life without my family around every day. That decision forced me to grow up fast and taught me discipline, independence, and the importance of staying present. Now, this is my fourth year away from home, and I’m playing my first year of junior professional hockey.
